2010 HARVEST HILL GOLF CENTER LEAGUE INFORMATION

                The 2010 golf season is here! The Professional Golf Staff  has been working hard during the off season to make sure 2010, is the best season yet. We have expanded and improved all of our Professional programs to better serve our golfers and the community. 

                HHGC will once again be hosting Men’s & Women’s Leagues.  We have added a Junior League, an 18 hole Ladies League, and in conjunction with Play Golf America, an Educational 3 hole League. The entire team at HHGC is excited about the upcoming season.  We hope you can join us.  Please read through all of the enclosed information and pick the leagues that you best suit your needs and interests.

TOP O’THE HILL CLUB

                League participants will be required to join the new Top O’The Hill Club.  You will receive a USGA Handicap, and eligibility for all of the HHGC sponsored events, Buffalo District Golf tournaments, USGA and NYSGA events.  The Top O’The Hill will host a Member-Member and a Club Championship this season.  Your entry in the Top O’The Hill Club will also supplement the activities of the Junior Leagues and The First Tee of WNY.

2010 Harvest Hill Men’s Golf League

Dates

• Matches Start:  April 28, 2010 (Wednesdays)
• Matches End:    August 25, 2010 with make up dates of September 1 and 8^th

Format

• League will consist of two 16 team divisions broken up by team handicap.
• The A division (lower 16 Team Handicap) will play the Gold Tees.
• The B division (higher 16 Team Handicap) will play the Silver Tees.
• Matches will be based on 10pts. 1pt per hole with 1pt for low team total.
• All matches will be handicapped
• Weekly skins games available
• Playoffs will consist of Top 3 teams from each division.
• Each Division will have the following payout for regular season:

$320 for 1^st place           $150 for 4^th place         

$260 for 2^nd place          $100 for 5^th place

$210 for 3^rd place          $60 for 6^th place

 
Play-Off Payment      $150 for 1^st , $90 for 2^nd, $60 for 3^rd 

*Pay-outs based on full field in each Division.

Finances:

• All league members are required to be Top of the Hill Club Members. Cost is $50, this fee covers the GHIN Handicap Services and supports the HHGC BDGA Jr Team.
• All league members are required to pay into League Prize Fund. Cost $50, 100%of this fund will support the league prize fund and banquet. 
• Weekly green fees $25
• Season Pass holders are not subject to weekly green fee charge or Top of the Hill Club, but are required to pay into League prize fund.
• $50 deposit required per team member to hold position in league due by Jan 8^th .
• Total cost of league minus deposit due by April 1^st .

                                                                                        2010 Harvest Hill Ladies League

LADIES 9 HOLE LEAGUE     

Day: Thursday          
Tee Times:  4 to 5:30pm
Dates:  May 20 to Aug 5 (12 weeks)

      All skill levels welcome.  The league will tee off on Thursdays, from 4pm to 530pm.   Ladies will be required to make their own tee times during the set aside time frame.  The format is individual play and there will be weekly prizes and cash games every week.  Everyone in the league will have an official USGA handicap through the Top O‘The Hill Club, creating a level playing field for all to participate each week.  If your handicap meets the requirements, league members will also be eligible to represent HHGC in Buffalo District events and have the opportunity to play other private and public courses in the area.

LADIES 18 HOLE LEAGUE
   
Day & Times:  At your convience
Dates:  May 23 to July 24  (10 weeks)

      All participants will have an USGA handicap so, the 18 hole league is open to all skill levels, but is designed to offer more options for a competitive atmosphere at HHGC and at other courses in the area.  There will be weekly 18 hole events and games that will be flighted by handicap.  Weekly prizes as well as end of year awards will be handed out.  If your 18 hole handicap meets the requirements, league members will also be eligible to represent HHGC in Buffalo District events and have the opportunity to play other private and public courses in the area.

                Members of the 18 hole league can play at their convenience and simply pay the applicable green fee.  There is no prepayment of green fees required for this league.  Players will turn in their scorecards by the deadline established for each weekly tournament and prize winners will be posted in the Pro Shop.  Scorecards must be attested by another member of the league or the Top O’The Hill Club.  Men’s league players can attest your scorecard.

Dates and times to be announced.  If you have an interest in this program, please indicate when registering and we will contact you when the league begins.  Players in this league will receive a lesson from a Golf Professional and experience in course play at every session.    This program will teach the golf swing, chipping and putting, as well as, how to play on a course, basic rules and etiquette.  It is designed to give players confidence and get them ready for regular 9 and 18 hole play.

Rain-out Policy

♦ Harvest Hill will make the decision on a rain-out.

♦ Leagues continue play in light rain. Lightning is always suspension of play.

♦ If your players stop mid-round, they will be credited a pro-rated rain-check.

♦ Rain-checks can be applied towards the price of an 18-hole rate.
